WHO ARE WE?

Asset Recovery and Credit Inc. is a Canadian corporation that specializes in 3rd Party Debt Collections. Our website address is: https://creditdump.ca.

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

COOKIES

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

CREDIT INVESTIGATION

Asset Recovery & Credit the (“Company”) may collect information (as defined below) during the course of your relationship with the Company from credit bureaus, other financial institutions, and the references you provide the Company. Asset Recovery & Credit may also disclose Information to credit bureaus and financial institutions. (The word “Information” means financial and financially-related information about you, in a business or personal capacity, including information to identify you or qualify you for products and services, or information that the Company needs for regulatory requirements.)

Asset Recovery & Credit may use Information to identify you, protect you and the Company from fraud and error, understanding your needs and eligibility for services, recommend particular products and services, to meet your needs, provide ongoing service and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. This is explained in the Asset Recovery & Credit Privacy Policy. Your Privacy is protected and is available at the Asset Recovery & Credit head office or www.creditdump.ca which describes how the Company collects, uses, discloses and retains information about you and the products and service you use.

Specific Consents:

Disclosure with Asset Recovery & Credit. Asset Recovery & Credit may share Information with the Company so that the Company may tell you about products and services; and

a.)  Direct Marketing. Asset Recovery & Credit may tell you about products and services via direct mail, telephone and other direct means; and

b.)  You hereby authorize the Company to obtain such financial and investigative information regarding your customers from others as permitted by law, including information from any credit reporting agency; and

c.)  You Client hereby acknowledges that a report containing credit information may or will be referred to in connection with the regular business activity of the Company;  and

d.)  Including your Social Insurance Number (SIN) in this credit bureau request is the best way to ensure credit bureau information accurately refers to you. However, this is completely optional, and if you opt not to give Asset Recovery & Credit permission, this by itself will not prevent you from continuing the business or operational processes of the Company.
